New steel framed sliding doors were based on existing sliding fire doors in the space, with steel rollers resting on a large steel beam. The metal is blackened by hand-rubbing, then sealed. The bottom panels are acid etched glass for privacy when the conference room is in use.

Beside the conference room, new stairs lead up to a terrace. The stairs and conference room floor are made of a reconstituted wood strand board, stained a warm honey color to bring the illusion of sunlight to the back of the office. The screen is ipe and glass.

A small balcony at the top of the stairs overlooks the conference room. The wall of cabinets under the stairs holds a fridge/ bar area with a pull out table for entertaining clients, supplies, and a rolling media cart.
